About the Role
UPTARGET is looking for a Full-Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to help us build and modernize core systems across our retail, logistics, ERP, and eCommerce environments.
You’ll be joining a cross-functional team led by a Full-Stack Team Lead and play a key role in bringing more ownership, speed, and execution capability in-house. You’ll work on a wide variety of systems—including internal tools, backend services, APIs, ERP/POS integrations, and customer-facing applications—with a strong emphasis on backend architecture, business logic, and integrations.
This is a high-ownership, hands-on development role that supports our shift away from fragmented outsourcing and toward a focused, fast-moving internal engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, integrations, and internal systems using .NET, PHP, and/or Node.js.
- Contribute to frontend interfaces in React when needed (minimal).
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Work across domains: eCommerce, ERP, logistics, internal tools, customer-facing apps.
- Collaborate with team leads, DevOps, and product managers to scope and deliver features quickly and reliably.
- Help identify refactoring or rebuild opportunities across legacy services.
- Continuously improve team velocity and code quality.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack or backend development roles.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language/framework: .NET, PHP, Node.js.
- Familiarity with SQL or Oracle DBs; exposure to MongoDB or PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Comfortable working with APIs, business logic, integrations, and real-world constraints.
- Some experience with React or willingness to contribute to frontend work when needed.
- Strong sense of ownership and the ability to deliver independently and as part of a team.
Bonus Points
- Experience in retail, logistics, or ERP-integrated systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or DevOps collaboration.
- Exposure to performance optimization, legacy code refactoring, or system modernization projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment and thrive under evolving requirements.
